Supper like somebody meant it.

Wood-fired plates, scratch sides, and pie that goes before seven. Third-generation family kitchen, two blocks off the square.

Two blocks off the square, since 1967

Our Story

Three generations, one hearth

Ada Reyes opened this room in 1967 with a wood stove and a short menu. Her granddaughter runs it now, same stove, slightly longer menu.

We know most of our tables by first name. If it's your first time in, tell us. The cornbread's on us.

Everything comes off the wood fire.

The same hearth Ada lit in 1967. We never saw a reason to change it.
